From the brand Make Our Family History, Part of Your Family History, we present our story and how we got our start. Adelaida Fernandez-Cuellar founded Garcia de la Cruz during a time when it was uncommon for women to work outside of the home.

Since 1872, our family has lovingly raised each and every olive tree in our grove. Our quest to produce extra virgin olive oil in the purest artisanal style began humbly with a primitive mill, powered by a mule. To us, olive oil represents the warmth and love of family. In the five generations since, we have remained devoted to producing the highest quality, most flavorful and purest organic extra virgin olive oil for our customers.

Our signature blend, 150 years in the making, is the Perfect Everyday Oil. It boasts Exquisite Flavor as the First Harvest of the Season, and Olive Oil Infused with Natural Flavors as the Finishing Touch on a Great Dish. Tasting notes include Full Fresh Aromas, Very Low Values of Sourness and Spiciness, Dense and Enduring Body, with Notes of Almond, Fresh Grass, Kiwi and Apple.

We offer a variety of single-origin oils, each with its own unique profile. Our Arbequina oil has Intense, Sweet Aromas, Very Low Values of Bitterness and Spiciness, and a Dense and Smooth Body, with Notes of Green Fruit, Almond, Apple, and Banana. The Cornicabra oil has Full Fresh Aromas, Medium-High Bitter and Spicy Values, and a Dense and Persistent Body, with Notes of Fresh Grass, Kiwi, and Apple. The Hojiblanca oil has Full Fresh Aromas, Medium-Low Bitterness and Average Spiciness, and a Dense and Smooth Body with Notes of Green Fruit, Almond, and Fresh Grass. Finally, the Picual oil has Full Fresh Aromas, Moderate Bitter and Spicy Notes, and a Dense and Smooth Body, with Notes of Green Fruit, Olive Leaf, Tomato, and Fig.

We are proud to be Olive Growers for Nearly 150 years, harvesting our olives from the outer foothills of the Mountains of Toledo in Spain. Our oils are brought to you in high-quality, hand-blown glass bottles.
